Ingredients
  • 200g dangmyeon (korean glass noodles)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound beef strips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1/4 cup gochujang sauce (spicy korean chili paste)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions for garnish
Preparation Steps
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic and sauté until softened.
  5. Add gochujang sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and black pepper to the skillet.
  6. Cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly.
  7. Return beef to skillet and stir to coat with sauce.
  8. Add glass noodles to skillet and cook according to package instructions.
  9. Toss all ingredients together and season to taste.
  10. Garnish with green onions before serving.
