Ingredients
- 1 pound of Venison Steaks, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of Garlic, minced
- 8 oz of Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon of Gochujang Sauce
- 2 tablespoons of Soy Sauce
- 2 teaspoons of Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon of Sesame Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Preparation Steps
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together Gochujang Sauce, Soy Sauce, and Ground Ginger.
- Step 2: Heat the Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced Onion and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Step 3: Add the sliced Mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and start browning, about 5 minutes.
- Step 4: Add the sliced Venison Steaks to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Step 5: In a small bowl, whisk together Sesame Oil and Soy Sauce. Brush the mixture evenly over the venison steaks.
- Step 6: Return the venison steaks to the skillet and cook for an additional minute on each side, or until caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 7: Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
