Ingredients
- 1 cup edamame, shelled
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped scallions
- 1/4 cup grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Preparation Steps
- Step 1: Mix flour, cornstarch, and salt in a bowl. Gradually add edamame and mix until dough forms.
- Step 2: Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth. Divide into small balls and flatten slightly.
- Step 3: Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add scallions and ginger and sauté until fragrant.
- Step 4: Bring soy sauce, garlic, and water to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 5: Steam dumplings for 10-12 minutes or cook in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Serve with dipping sauce.
- Step 6: Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions. Serve immediately.
