Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp orange blossom water
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup candied orange peel, chopped (see note)
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey
Preparation Steps
- Step 1: In a medium saucepan, whisk together cream, milk, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Step 2: Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in orange blossom water and vanilla extract. Let steep for 10 minutes.
- Step 3: Strain the mixture into a clean bowl through a fine-mesh sieve into a separate container. Whisk in Greek yogurt until smooth.
- Step 4: Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or ramekins. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing the wrap directly onto the surface of the panna cotta to prevent a skin from forming.
- Step 5: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set.
- Step 6: Just before serving, drizzle the orange juice and honey over the top of each panna cotta. Sprinkle with chopped candied orange peel.
- Step 7: Serve chilled, garnished with additional candied orange zest if desired.
