Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon orange blossom water
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup dried rose petals
Preparation Steps
- In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and kosher salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is hot but not boiling.
- Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and orange blossom water. Let it steep for 10-15 minutes, then strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean bowl.
- Whisk in the Greek yogurt and honey until smooth. Pour the mixture into small individual serving cups or ramekins.
- Refrigerate the panna cotta for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until set.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the sliced almonds and dried rose petals over the top of each panna cotta.
- Serve the panna cotta chilled, garnished with additional rose petals if desired.
