Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 1 cup chopped pistachios
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and cardamom. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and rose water.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, then stir in pistachios and chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
