Baked Brie and Prosciutto Pinwheels

Ingredients
- 1 package of puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup of brie cheese, softened
- 6 slices of prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup of fresh thyme, chopped
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Preparation Steps
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Cut into 6 equal rectangles.
- Spread a tablespoon of brie cheese on each rectangle, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edges.
- Top the cheese with a slice of prosciutto, a sprinkle of thyme, and a drizzle of honey.
- Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg for a golden glaze.
- Roll each rectangle into a pinwheel shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
